It’s a lot of fun to write scores for opening credits and titles because the opener usually sets the tone – and in some ways acts as a trailer – of what the series or film is going to be about. I love using very modern electronic sounds with orchestral elements in a lot of scores. Although I may not be unique in that particular method, the process by which I compose it often has recognizable signature as style distinctly my own.

In many series and films, the opener bleeds into the first part of the filmed sequence. I wanted to demonstrate what that would sound like, so I designed the sound for that first sequence as well.

I also designed the opening credits using stock footage and custom-produced titling using Adobe After Effects.
