Poor Majesty’s Roses music video turned out to be a very personal endeavor. To film it, we went back to his hometown of Oroville, CA to shoot footage of his family, in particular his grandmother and grandfather.

The were all both welcoming and charming, and we had a great time developing this video over the course of an afternoon by the pool. It was an early release candidate of the song, and the song that appears on the record is an entirely different version featuring Sene Goss. I liked the personal approach to this version, and decided to keep it as is.
