I evidently don’t read “stay on the trail ” signs very well. This is Muirwoods. Have you gone yet? Go late afternoon if able–around 4PM. You get that kickass low photographers light through the trees. Also, bring your wide angle lens; these redwood trees are massive. Hiking boots only necessary if your trail sign reading skills are at my level.
